Matt Gage

Matt has built his career on high-end client service, precision craftsmanship, and a philosophy of uncompromising quality—believing that if something is 99% right, it’s still 1% wrong. He began his professional journey in woodworking and CNC machining, where attention to detail wasn’t optional—it was foundational. That mindset carried into a leadership role in high-end guitar manufacturing, where Matt oversaw production, vendor relationships, and customer experience with the same relentless standard of excellence.

His deep understanding of hands-on construction and natural problem-solving abilities became the backbone of his leadership style. He believes every challenge has a solution—and thrives in environments where adaptability and innovation are essential.

Matt transitioned into wildfire mitigation as a Construction Manager at Ember Defense, where he became known for his product knowledge and ability to meet the demands of high-net-worth clients. When the company shifted its focus to emergency response, Matt played a key role in maintaining long-standing partnerships and ultimately co-founded MitigateNow to continue supporting homeowners and contractors with proactive, high-quality fire resilience solutions.

Outside of work, Matt finds peace in the outdoors and purpose in community—whether he’s hunting, riding, or sharing stories with friends old and new. He’s supported in life and business by his wife, Brooke, and lives with deep gratitude for the work they do and the life they’ve built together. Matt’s approach to leadership is grounded in action, precision, and showing up for others—and he lives by the belief that “Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more you sweat, the luckier you get.” – Ray Kroc
